Wisdom International College (WIC) is one of the progressive Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) based in Sydney, NSW. The college is currently offering certificate to diploma-level courses in Aged Care and Community Service to international students.

We are seeking expressions of interest from qualified Trainers and Assessors who have proven experience within an RTO or a TAFE environment to join our academic team;
To be successful in this role, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Tertiary qualification in Aged care related domains/fields;
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110/TAE40116) or higher;
  • Trainer qualified to teach BSB41419, BSB5131
  • Demonstrable experience of efficiently administrating and coordinating academic programs in a training or education environment, including timetabling and scheduling classes/sessions;
  • Sound knowledge of the relevant Standards for RTOs 2015, and The National Code 2018, and ensuring compliance in the academic processes;
  • Sound knowledge of RPL process, credit transfer, and the AQF guidelines;
  • Sound knowledge of the requirements of the relevant ESOS standards in relation to course progress, course completion, student enrolments, deferments, suspensions, overseas students transfer, and academic complaints and appeals;
  • Ability to coordinate implementation of training courses, strategies, and units of competency as per the training package and college requirements;
  • Ability to effectively plan and manage contact and interaction between trainers and students;
  • Ability to develop and manage trainer skill matrices, and ensure trainer/assessor compliance;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with staff, students, colleagues and other college stakeholders;
  • Sound knowledge of student learning support and experience in dealing with multicultural student cohorts in a training or an educational environment;
  • High level computer skills including the Microsoft Office package (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); and
