The Graduate Program unlocks your potential, allowing you to develop experience and gain exposure within the Metallurgy function, and on site.
Some of the key result areas in this role may include:
Fulfill the requirements of the Graduate Program, including attendance at all formal workshops and webinars, and completion of assignments and deliverables to the designated timeframe
Be proactive in identifying and reporting potential hazards and eliminating risk taking behaviours or actions.
Demonstrate behaviours aligned with Evolution Mining values of Safety, Excellence, Accountability, Respect.
Complete rotations across processing roles (operations, laboratory) and cross functions (mining, geology, maintenance, finance/commercial) as part of professional development
Monitor and report plant metallurgical performance under guidance of plant metallurgists
Carryout metallurgical test work and plant trials that are aimed at improving efficiencies and/or costs, and provide technical reports on the findings and recommendations
Complete daily, weekly and monthly metallurgical accounting and reporting
Monitor and ensure that key plant operating parameters remain within target
Monitor and ensure that consumption of process consumables remain in line with budget
Ensure achievement of budget plant recoveries through agreed metallurgical accounting procedures
Provide professional, timely technical advice to mine site personnel as required

Should you successfully fulfill all requirements of the two-year Graduate Program, you will be offered a permanent role in the business.
About youIt is also important that you have/can demonstrate:
Tertiary qualification in Metallurgy, Minerals Processing, or related discipline.
Ability to work safely at all times.
Effective computer literacy, including spread sheet and database development.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience with data management and metallurgical software is highly regarded
Vacation work experience within a minerals processing environment is highly regarded
