HANDYMAN
Are you an experienced Handyman with experience in Building services maintenance. Our client is looking for fulltime staff for an immediate start.

Our client is a Facilities Management group who are currently looking for an experienced Handyman to join their Trades Service Team.

You may be an experienced 1st or 2nd Fix Carpenter, looking to take a step back from the heavy work to look after their clients needs.

You will be working at a Commercial Building in the Parramatta Business District

About the role
We currently have a full-time position for experienced Handypersons in the Parramatta area.

As a member of the Facilities Service team, you will be reporting into the Facilities manager, where your key responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Undertake urgent, routine and adhoc maintenance, repairs, inspections on the client's premises and equipment as directed by the company.
• Liaise closely with key stakeholders to ensure they are aware of any disruption to services by any works servicing undertaken.
• Review and comment on any instructions and standard operating procedures for handyman services.
• Participate and take an active role when new equipment items are transferred from Projects to Maintenance.
• Ensure effective Key Performance Indicators are managed effectively including response times, safety, compliance, and financial performance of all job numbers assigned to you.
• Utilise the mobility solution to retrieve work order details and enter and complete all historical information within the system.
• General ad hoc duties as requested by your Leading Hand or local trade services management and schedulers.

Skills and Experience
To be considered for this position you will bring previous experience in a similar environment

Minimum requirements include:

• Relevant Trade Qualification / experience
• Building maintenance type skills though minimum 2 years' experience
• Building, construction or Facility Maintenance background such as repairs and preventative maintenance
• Flexible as general work hours will vary to meet client expectations
• Forklift License or willing to get one
• Valid manual Driver's License
• OH&S, Risk Management, Environmental Management or Quality Assurance systems.
• Ensure adherence to all legal requirements associated with the role including, but not limited to, The Trade Practices Act, Legislation, Fair Trading Act, Contract and Employment Law
