Mechanical Fitter


Core Talent are currently partnered with a leading National engineering company who are looking for Mechanical Fitters and / or Boilermakers with Mechanical/Shutdown experience for long-term opportunities located inner north-side Brisbane.


About the position:

  • You will be responsible for providing technical and engineering support to effectively deliver on time and on budget, operational work schedules/activities that meet client expectations and are compliant with legislative requirements, SOP's, company policies and objectives.
  • You will be responsible for testing mechanical systems and ensuring that all maintenance activities are completed to the highest possible standard.

_Skills and experience:
_

Essential Criteria (what's required):

  • Australian recognised trade certification (Cert III in Mechanical Fitting or Cert III Heavy Fabrication)
  • Minimum 4 years' experience
  • Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Strong commitment towards safety and quality
  • Motivated and hardworking with a professional attitude
  • EWP, WAH, White Card and Forklift is a requirement for site
