About the Role:

This position is a 12 month fixed term contract and will incorporate a variety of responsibilities, including:

  • Working with key stakeholders to ensure recruitment and employee change in conditions needs across the business are adequately supported
  • Roll out and ongoing support of People and Culture automated ticketing system
  • Assisting in the development of alternate sourcing strategies to build talent pools for roles within the business
  • Providing advice to Hiring Managers and Stakeholders on specific recruitment procedures, selection criteria and interviewing guidelines
  • Preparing internal and external job advertisements, web postings, and other materials in accordance with company standards and business needs
  • Adhere to effective recruitment management processes to ensure best practice, whilst contributing to optimisation of tools and said processes
  • Have a curious mind that contributes to continual development and improvement of People and Culture policy, processes, and systems
  • Mange external agency use for temporary assignments and ensuring that all agency engagement only occurs with approved vendors
  • Developing and maintaining positive and productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Managing the offer process, including drafting contracts, in line with salary band and approval guidelines
  • Coordinating and assisting with Employee relocation requirements
  • Coordinating and assisting with Right to Work/Visa requirements
  • Assisting with assessment centres for Apprentice and Graduate intakes
  • Recruitment coverage to support overflow plus annual and personal leave

About you:

To be considered you will have;

  • Willingness and ability to travel to CleanCo sites for meetings and networking as required
  • Demonstrated experience working in a similar role, preferably within the construction, engineering, or power industries
  • Evidenced interpersonal skills to build strong rapport and positive relationships with all stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with accuracy and ability to prioritise tasks, whilst keeping a positive disposition
  • Highly proficient use of Microsoft Office suite, inclusive of Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to work in a team and communicate professionally and effectively
  • Effective time management skills with an understanding of sense of urgency
  • Ability to multitask and identify importance of priorities
  • Willingness to be a part of something bigger than yourself, that contributes to the delivery of low emission, renewable, reliable and affordable energy for Queensland
  • Passion for personal and professional development in Human Resources field
