About the Role: We are currently seeking experienced Civil Project Engineers to join our Utilities and Infrastructure team in a full-time and permanent role at our Melbourne CBD headquarters. This position involves utilizing civil engineering expertise to contribute to the design, procurement, and delivery of technical goods and services for infrastructure projects, including electrical HV substation services. The role requires collaboration with Project Managers, Designers, Construction team members, and other stakeholders to plan and execute projects safely and efficiently while upholding Beon's reputation for quality.
In this role you will deliver:
- Provide technical support to the Project Manager in Civil Engineering
- Build professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success
- Assist in project planning, scoping, and estimating
- Facilitate communication between designers, constructors, and equipment manufacturers/suppliers
- Contribute to project design reviews and quality management processes
- Prepare QA/QC documentation and inspection plans
- Suggest ideas for enhancing team performance and culture
To excel in this role you will have:
- Bachelor of Engineering - Civil
- Victorian Professional Engineer Registration (or eligibility)
- Project Management qualifications (preferred)
- Knowledge of construction requirements including earthworks, drainage, and concrete structures
- Understanding of project management principles in an EPC context
- Expertise in supplier management and procurement
- Experience in stakeholder engagement and risk management
- Commitment to Health & Safety practices
