Green Leaves Early Learning Ashgrove is conveniently located on Waterworks Road with plenty of on-site parking.

Our bright and inviting learning hubs are filled with rich, warm timber resources and are located on both levels. Custom-built play forts, recycled water pumps that trickle onto rock beds and a calming zen garden make for balanced outdoor fun. On the ground floor, you'll find our state-of-the-art chef's kitchen and culinary lesson area, as well as our parent lounge where families can catch up with each other or educators over fresh barista-made coffee.

Our Early Childhood Teachers

  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), National Quality Standard/Framework (NQS/NQF), Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline (QKLG)
  • Plan and implement a comprehensive and engaging program for our children
  • Responsible in managing your classroom and mentoring educators to meet high standards of curriculum and documentation
  • Team-player who is open to different views, receptive to feedback and reflects critically upon best practice
  • Pride in ensuring the room is immaculately presented as a welcoming and safe environment
  • Ability to mentor other teachers and educators as part of our leadership team
  • Hold an ACECQA approved teaching qualification
  • Current Working with Children's Check
  • Current Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR and First Aid Certificates or willingness to obtain one
  • Current Child Protection Training or willingness to obtain one

Green Leaves Early Learning has committed to supporting the professional development and practice of our ECTs with the appointment of a dedicated mentor to co-research, create, and develop innovative learning and teaching practices. Our Mentors and ECTs are provided regular opportunities to collaborate with our National Learning Research and Development Partner (NLRDP) – Dr Karen Grubb, through face to face and online mentoring; access to weekly articles and examples of practice shared by all of our services on our Storypark platform; networking with other ECTs across our organisation; and participation in practical professional development opportunities that extend their pedagogical and educational understandings. We are seeking ECTs who recognise they are lifelong learners, share practice that aspires to be current, responsive, and transformative, and view themselves as research partners when supporting and mentoring others in our education team.
