They work with people across the lifespan, providing intervention within their well-resourced gyms and clinic rooms, as well as within the individuals home, school or community. They recognise the importance of team work and clinicans feeling supported within the NDIS setting, and have fantastic structures in place to achieve this.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to take an adults caseload within a multidisciplinary team in South East Melbourne.

Work alongside a team who are passionate about working collaborative to help people achieve their goals. In this role you will support people of all ages under the NDIS scheme and HCPs, delivering clinical assessments and therapies in the clinic, their home or local community. Utilise the functional assessment spaces within the clinic, something that is rarely available in an adult NDIS caseload. Enjoy seeing a diverse caseload, and have the option to tailor your clinical caseload to an area of interest such as mental health, home modifications or assistive technology.

You will be well supported by a highly experienced team lead OT, as well as the OT manager who has over 30 years experience. You will receive supervision and mentoring, as well as in-house and external professional development opportunities to achieve your goals. This role is open to full time or part time applications.

About You:

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy and AHPRA registration
  • 2-3 years experience in adults/mental health
  • Willingness to take on some mental health clients with support of experienced OT lead
  • NDIS experience desirable
  • Active listener and critical thinking skills
  • A passion and drive to make a difference
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Enthusiasm to grow and expand your knowledge, skill-set and career
  • Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWC) Clearance or willingness to obtain
  • Current driver's license and car
