THE OPPORTUNITY**TAFE NSW is looking for an industry qualified, experienced and passionate teacher of Management and Vocational Education Training and Assessment to join the team. Teachers must have experience with both TAE and Management areas. This is a permanent full-time role based at the Granville campus.


The role of the TAFE teacher as a professional educator is to help, construct, guide and enhance the educative process.

The teacher delivers educational programs and facilitates learning, enabling students to achieve their desired outcomes.

ABOUT YOU**You are passionate and motivated about sharing your extensive industry experience in vocational education and are knowledgeable on current and upcoming trends and industry requirements. You have the ambition and drive to succeed and mentor students, passing on your experience and knowledge, and have demonstrated experience in delivering training in an adult learning environment both face to face and through connected learning platforms.

To be considered for the role you will have:

  • Degree (or higher) in Leadership and Management

AND
Diploma in Vocational Education and Training / Diploma in Training Design and Development / Higher level qualifications in adult education (see here for more information)

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent.
  • Minimum three years post qualification experience within the last five years.
  • Demonstrated commitment to maintaining professional currency.
  • Comprehensive current knowledge of the industry with a strong understanding of current trends and diversity within the Vocational Education and Training sector.
  • You have proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and MS Teams (or similar online collaboration tool) along with competent digital literacy to operate via connected learning platforms.
