The exciting opportunity:

  • Operational responsibility of a 45 bed facility, small home care service of HCP clients and a retirement village
  • Have input into strategic direction and drive the achievement of operational objectives
  • Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team, providing them with support, clear direction and guidance to create a culture founded on excellence and job ownership
  • Hold full profit and loss responsibility; driving funding, managing costs and maximising resources to achieve financial targets
  • Ensure compliance with legislation and accreditation requirements for all services
  • Conduct audits and gap analysis to identify areas of improvement
  • Design and implement quality initiatives to make the organisation a progressive game changer within the industry
  • Develop genuine and productive relationships with clients and their families to achieve exceptional customer experience

About you:

  • A proven track record as a Service Manager within residential aged care or home care is essential
  • Compassionate manager who is able to implement change, provide coaching and mentoring, improve culture and increase staff accountability
  • Must have strong knowledge of legislation and a demonstrated ability helping an aged care service meet the governing standards
  • Strong business and financial acumen; able to meet KPIs and maximise the budget, whilst delivering high quality services
  • Progressive, driven to do things differently, a contagious passion for delivering quality care and excited about the opportunity to be a key leader during a positive journey of change
