SPE Carpentry has an opportunity for an apprentice carpenter to join the team.

We specialise in all aspects of carpentry but our main focus is within the Fire Protection industry. Fire door and frame maintenance, repair, replacement and inspecting play a major role in our work load.


Excellent opportunity to gain a foothold in this high demand, specialised industry, with on the job training and guidance with qualified tradies in a supportive environment.


To be successful you will need to have the following:

  • Ability to undertake physically demanding work
  • Be reliable and punctual
  • Very keen to learn
  • Have a basic knowledge of hand tools
  • Commitment and enthusiasm with a genuine interest in carpentry
  • Ability to get to and from work independently

Preferred:

  • Driver licence and own car
  • A white card
  • Third or Fourth Year Apprentice, mature aged trade person
  • Own tools
