PFD Food Services has a rich history starting back in 1943 at the bustling Melbourne Fish Markets. The Position

The primary objective of this role is to uphold stringent stock control procedures to ensure optimal stock integrity at the branch. This involves analyzing reports and addressing inventory-related discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate and analyze key inventory reports daily
  • Regularly conduct cycle counts
  • Investigate and resolve all discrepancies within set timelines
  • Implement and maintain Low Code reports
  • Perform frequent stock adjustments
  • Maintain meticulous records of reports, adjustments, cycle counts, and customer orders
  • Ensure the highest level of accuracy in stock receipting
  • Handle customer orders and address any related issues
  • Prepare for stocktakes

Key Competencies, Skills, and Qualifications

  • Previous experience in Stock Control (stocktake, cycle counts, supplier management)
  • Hold a valid High Risk Forklift Licence
  • Exceptional analytical skills with keen attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Effective time management skills, able to work independently
  • Understanding of warehouse operations and products
  • Flexible, reliable, and capable of handling pressure
  • Familiarity with MFG Pro processes and functions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of OH&S and HACCP standards
  • Certificate III in Warehousing or equivalent
