Our client, a leading curtain wall and cladding contractor is seeking an experienced AutoCAD drafter.

You will have the opportunity to partner with reputable builders, working on a variety of tier 1 and 2 projects whilst liaising with the fabrication and installation teams.

Their in-house design drafting team based in Melbourne seek an experienced, diligent and team orientated facade / or curtain wall drafter

• You will be required
• Reading and interpreting architectural and structural drawings and specifications
• Providing submission of shop drawings using AutoCAD (2D/3D) accurately and on time
• Communicating with clients and internal stakeholders
• Ideally you will have:
• Local experienced within commercial façade / windows environments (overseas experience will also be considered provided you are familiar with Australian standards)
• Demonstrated understanding of products, design and production processes within commercial cladding and curtain wall
• Experienced and competent with AutoCAD 2D & 3D
• Experienced with the design and documentation of aluminium, glass, steel and composite panels.
• A strong work ethic and ability to meet deadlines with minimum supervision
• Well organised with a high attention to detail
• Ability to work cohesively with other design member and Project Managers
