We are in search of a skilled and seasoned Senior Agility Coach to become a part of our team. As a Senior Agile Coach, you will have a crucial role in molding the coaching culture within our organization and achieving significant results across the Group. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with various departments to develop leaders and enhance agility across the Group, aligning with the vision and strategic goals of the Commonwealth Bank.

As a coach, you will possess the expertise needed to strategically lead, coach, and mentor leaders in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning, ultimately yielding outstanding outcomes for our customers and the Group. Working closely with senior leadership throughout the bank, your focus will be on ensuring that our coaching endeavors align with Group objectives and promote individual and team development. You will lead by example, showcasing exceptional coaching skills while guiding and empowering fellow coaches to excel in their roles.

Your strengths include:

  • Delivering coaching and aiding teams in grasping and implementing relevant metrics
  • Presenting and addressing intricate issues to a diverse set of stakeholders with varying agile expertise

  • Establishing rapport and building trust with stakeholders across all levels
  • Demonstrating exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Identifying complex challenges and offering innovative solutions for teams to implement
  • Embodying a growth mindset and serving as a role model for others

We are looking to hear from individuals who have:

  • Developed and led an agile capability for extensive teams across the Group through coaching, mentoring, training, facilitating, and advising at scale
  • Extensive experience in coaching at various levels within large organizations, including at an executive suite level (Experience in Financial Services is advantageous)
  • Possess coaching accreditations (e.g., IC-ENT Enterprise Agile) and related certifications in agile and product principles
  • Influenced leadership at every level through clear communication to drive a consistent enhancement of agile culture, mindset, and coaching capability maturity across the Group
  • The ability to prioritize and manage workload in a highly dynamic environment with frequently changing and sometimes conflicting priorities
  • Elevated teams' continuous performance improvement by establishing, embedding, and measuring metrics, while also offering insights for coaching and squad maturity
  • Assisted teams in effectively identifying and resolving risks and issues that affect the quality, effectiveness, and flow/velocity of customer outcomes
  • Expertise in Agile principles/frameworks, Product management, development, and growth strategy
  • Familiarity with Organizational Design, Human-Centered Design, and growth strategy
  • Proficiency in coaching teams to ensure consistent adoption of agile practices across all Group levels
  • Extensive experience and in-depth understanding of JIRA and other software aligned with agile methodologies
  • The ability to facilitate the development and oversight of Objective Key Results (OKRs) with stakeholders to ensure proper communication through backlog priorities and accurate reporting
