We are currently looking for a skilled and dedicated Landscaping Labourer to join our team in Toowoomba. As a Landscaping Labourer, you will play a crucial role in assisting our landscaping team with various landscaping tasks.

Your main responsibility will be to provide physical support and carry out manual labour duties to ensure the successful completion of landscaping projects.


Responsibilities:

  • Help with the installation and maintenance of landscapes, including planting, irrigation, and hardscapes.
  • Take part in site preparation activities such as digging, grading, and levelling.
  • Use and maintain landscaping tools and equipment to keep them in good working condition.
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Assist with the transportation and loading/unloading of materials, plants, and equipment.
  • Collaborate with the landscaping team to efficiently execute tasks and meet project deadlines.
  • Keep work areas clean and organized, including equipment storage and maintenance areas.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on landscapes and associated structures.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding project progress, challenges, and suggestions for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in landscaping or a related field is preferred.
  • Good physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Basic knowledge of landscaping techniques, plants, and materials.
  • Familiarity with operating and maintaining landscaping tools and equipment.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • A valid driver's license is preferred.
  • A Valid White card or willing to obtain.
  • A valid Blue Card working with children or willing to obtain.
