Your New Opportunity

Due to continued growth, our Production team in Wacol have an opportunity for multiple Trade Assistant roles at our Production Facility located at 183 Viking Drive in Wacol, Brisbane.

You will work under the guidance and mentorship of our experienced team members and supervisors.

About the Job

  • Assist trades level employees directly with all aspects of equipment work to be undertaken on a day-to-day basis. This includes build-up of Battery Systems, Generators and Powerpacks
  • Assist in the performance of fault/maintenance diagnostic activities and complete repairs to ensure continuous operation of equipment.
  • Test equipment to ensure work has been completed to the required specification.
  • Ensure all tools and equipment used in the performance of work is safe to use and stored in a clean and safe manner.
  • Complete all records and paperwork accurately as required.

About You

  • You have a mechanical aptitude with an interest in the automotive heavy vehicle sector.
  • You have previous assembly or similar experience.
  • With the constant movement of heavy and light vehicles through our workshop, a safety-first approach is critical and as such your workspace is always clean and organised.
  • You can follow and complete paperwork and have knowledge of quality systems and controls.
  • You are focussed and complete tasks assigned in a safe, efficient and independent manner.
  • You are skilled in the use of hand and power tools and like to problem solve.
  • You are a team player with a can-do attitude with the ability to listen, learn and follow directions.
  • You are reliable, punctual and take pride in your team's achievements.
