Safety, Health, and Sustainability (SHS) Advisor (Geelong & Altona)

Join our client's team as a Safety, Health, and Sustainability (SHS) Advisor, where you will play a key role in conducting risk assessments, developing training plans, and fostering a safety-first culture. With a focus on strategic safety management, you'll collaborate with stakeholders, implement SHS initiatives, and contribute to the overall well-being of our operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct risk assessments for operations and supply chain.
  • Help develop and implement training plans.
  • Collaborate on risk assessments, procedures, and instructions.
  • Maintain site induction processes.
  • Liaise with clients for joint risk assessments.
  • Establish SHS consultation processes, committees, and leadership for safety culture development.
  • Help to Implement and monitor SHS Management Plans, inspection, and audit programs, ensuring compliance with change management standards.
  • Develop and implement return-to-work plans and collate monthly site reports on safety statistics.Top of Form

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate holds a Cert IV OHS, demonstrating an understanding in safety management systems, and a solid understanding of warehousing and supply chain safety. We're seeking someone with robust interpersonal and communication skills, effective leadership, unwavering integrity, a safety-oriented mindset, strategic thinking, problem-solving abilities, and a results-driven approach. We're particularly interested in junior candidates with a strong willingness to learn and develop.
