Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain EKG, echocardiogram, and other cardiac diagnostic equipment.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort.
  • Perform EKGs, stress tests, Holter monitoring, and other diagnostic tests as directed by physicians.
  • Monitor patients' heart rates and blood pressure during tests and procedures.
  • Document test results and patient information accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sterilizing equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
  • Provide patients with information about followup care and postprocedure instructions.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare staff.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in cardiac technology or related field preferred.
  • Certification as a Cardiology Technician or relevant experience in the field.
  • Proficiency with cardiac diagnostic equipment and technology.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced, teamoriented environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay:
From $60,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
