Our Corporate Affairs business unit are seeking someone with a passion for customer service, excellent written and verbal communication skills and has a willingness to learn all about CSIRO and the impact we deliver


As an Enquiries Advisor, you will support One-CSIRO operations by effectively responding in a concise and resourceful way to multi-channel enquiries to enhance CSIRO's public image and promote its capabilities.

You will aid the storage, retrieval and protection of information that can be disseminated internally and externally, as well as reporting on trends to optimise service delivery.


This is a valuable role which assists the team in responding to enquiries during peak periods whilst upholding CSIRO's reputation for friendly and accommodating service.


Your duties will include:

  • Seeking information proactively and resourcefully, both to resolve the immediate need and to contribute usefully to the collective knowledge base.
  • Delivering high service levels to clients through personal productivity and adherence to schedule.
  • Adding to the collective knowledge base by discovering and sharing information that will be of use in responding to current and future enquiries.
  • Achieving and maintaining a very high level of professionalism in all contacts with internal and external clients.

Salary:
AU $68,148k - $86,733 per annum (pro-rata for part-time) plus up to 15.4% superannuation

Tenure:
Specified term of 2 years. Part-Time.4FTE

To be considered you will need:

  • Demonstrated ability to discover, absorb and employ new information continuously, and be capable of dealing with scientific concepts and language.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Established critical thinking by communicating facts in a courteous manner, including posing appropriate questions to gain information.
  • A high level of computer competency and literacy in Microsoft Office suite, CRM and internet use.
  • Proven ability to show initiative and contribute as a team member and helping other team members when necessary.
  • Ability to deal with competing priorities and ensure accurate and timely responses.
