For one of our clients, a leading not-for-profit aged care provider, we are looking for a passionate and driven Quality Assurance Advisor, to join their team in expansion.

Our client's mission is to provide high-quality services and environments (i.e. home care, in-home nursing, respite services, residential care, and retirement living communities) to their customers.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Advocate for quality management systems and processes to ensure continuous improvement;
  • Lead a proactive and collaborative approach to risk management which supports the organisation to minimise adverse outcomes, manage uncertainties and maximise opportunities;
  • Drive new initiatives and continuous improvement;
  • In collaboration with key stakeholders, support the implementation of Quality Management Systems;
  • Assist with the delivery of Quality Management Systems training across the organisation;
  • Deliver audit reports that improve the safety, quality and continuous improvement of services and support accreditation against Quality Standards;
  • Prepare reports and presentations for the Executive, Board Committees, and organisational committees as required, on key risk and legislative compliance issues;
  • Contribute to organisational quality and compliance reporting requirements;
  • Participate in the review of existing, and the development of new, policies and procedures that are part of the company's Safeguarding framework;
  • Participate in reviews of serious events and allegations as part of the broader safeguarding function;
  • Assist with the development and delivery of Safeguarding training across the organisation.

ABOUT YOU:

  • Previous experience in a quality assurance role in a highly regulated industry;
  • Knowledge and experience with safeguarding frameworks within aged care and health sectors are highly regarded;
  • Ability to collate, synthesise and analyse data and produce reports;
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail;
  • Intermediate/Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent time management skills;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Customerfocused, highly professional, with a strong desire to provide quality client service;
  • Willingness to travel to metro and regional if required.
