The Client
Our client is a Townsville based government department collaborating with other agencies to oversee building, construction, and maintenance needs. A crucial department supporting the community.
The Role
We are seeking an individual with expertise in warehousing and improving workflow strategies.
Key responsibilities:
- Managing new plant arrivals
- Updating the register
- Inspecting equipment
- Adapting the Depot
- Collecting materials from depot and suppliers
- Visiting job sites in Townsville
Requirements
To excel in this role, you should have a genuine interest in depot operations and possess:
- Valid driver's license/truck license
- Forklift license (preferred but not mandatory)
- Prior experience in depots
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Capacity to prioritize tasks and assist team members
