Business/Systems Analysts (Information & Communication Technology)

Overview

The Digital Planning System Mobilisation Analyst is responsible for the operation, management and continuous improvement of the Digital Planning Systems services and environment. This is a vital role to ensure delivery of Digital Planning Systems capability to the CIMIC group and its joint venture partners.

The Digital Planning System Mobilisation Analyst requires expertise in products including but not limited to Asta Power Project, Aphex, Safran Risk, ToBe Builder, Fuzor and Primavera P6. The Digital Planning System Mobilisation Analyst will also be responsible for set-up and management of other related products.

The Digital Planning System Mobilisation Analyst will be an expert in Digital Systems with a focus on Digital Planning Systems to drive standardisation across the Group. This is a vital role in the application-related aspects of governing, operating, maintaining, and improving services.

Key responsibilities for the role include:

  • Accountability for the governance and management of digital planning software including Asta Power Project, Aphex, Safran Risk, ToBe Builder, Fuzor and Primavera P6
  • Accountability for the governance and management of data stores, licensing and server environments
  • Monitor and Report on System Usage, System Access and System Performance
  • Performing digital planning software related activities such as configuring and troubleshooting the software; and staying current with upgrades, updates and patches.
  • Be able to define and convey customisation requirements to meet specific project requirements
  • Troubleshoot and solve user problems for hosted systems
  • Ensure and proactively monitor that applications services are up to date, available and responsive for users according to business requirements and Service Level Agreements
  • Ensure and govern that policies related to application accesses, roles, and identities are executed as per defined by Information Security Management
  • Ensure that application services can deliver the agreed capacity and performance targets in a cost-effective and timely manner
  • Contribute to sharing of knowledge and information within own function and with internal clients

Education and Qualifications required for this role:

  • Preferably degree qualified in ICT, Digital or other equivalent
  • Prefer ITIL Qualification and Practices

Experience, Skills and Behavioural Competencies required for this role:

  • Minimum 10 years' experience in managing Digital Planning Systems.
  • Expertise in Asta Power Project, Aphex, Safran Risk, ToBe Builder, Fuzor and Primavera P6
  • Understanding of relevant Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) with capability to design, setup and maintain Digital Systems configurations.
  • Demonstrable experience with the management, administration, and delivery of Digital Planning Systems including Asta Power Project, Aphex, Safran Risk, ToBe Builder, Fuzor and Primavera P6.
  • Strong trouble shooting knowledge on platforms including Windows Operating System, Oracle Webcentre, Linux, Citrix, SQL Server and Oracle DB.
  • Excellent knowledge of ITIL Framework, and Change Management and Configuration Management.
  • Verbal and written communication skills and the ability to coordinate across multiple levels, with the Planning community, vendors' and other key stakeholders.
  • Understanding of contemporary IT technologies and concepts such as ICT Networks, Security and Authentication, End User Computing, Virtualised Environments and Cloud Computing.
