Description:


Based in Mascot, the Business Development Manager, East will report to the Sales Manager Australia and is responsible for expanding 5B's market reach and building partnerships that lead to opportunities and deliver exceptional customer experience.


Utilising high-level skills in analysis, communication, and influence, the Business Development Manager, East trains and educates to continue to accelerate the 5B mission of providing affordable, clean energy to the people of the world.


Core Accountabilities:

Develop a growth strategy for Eastern Australia, across key market segments
Manage sales pipeline, forecast monthly sales and identify new business opportunities
Develop opportunities, negotiate and close deals to deliver sales targets
Representing 5B at all events and seeking opportunities to partner and sponsor where it will enhance 5B's brand and business opportunities
Lob relevant industry and interest groups to position 5B as the no. 1 provider of environmentally sound solutions
Nurture and develop relationships with key customer accounts
Generate and/or validate incomings leads through the opportunity pipeline and convert them to sales
Engage with current and prospective customers to understand their needs and to align our solutions with such needs
Work with Technical Sales and Products teams to prepare accurate and timely quotations and proposals for customers
Maintain accurate reporting of all managed leads and opportunities within the CRM for sales forecasting and opportunity management
Maintain accurate reporting of all managed accounts and contacts within the CRM

To be successful in this role you will be a hunter fulfilling the sales cycle from developing pipelines, business development, sales and CRM processes and closing the deal.

You will have extensive experience in solution sales, technical product sales and be comfortable with the longer-term sales cycle. Resilience will be your number one attribute.

You will be a master at stakeholder relationship management; able to influence through the hierarchy of the customer and internally across departments at 5B to enable the sale.
