About the role:


The Operational Technology (OT) Cybersecurity Manager is a key member of the Cyber Monitoring & Defence team and is responsible for nurturing cyber security maturity across multiple OT sites and ensuring the safety of critical infrastructure.

Developing strong relationships with key stakeholders with different requirements and across different operational contexts will be key to success in the role.


What you'll be doing:
Influence and provide OT security expertise with site engineer and control system teams. Build relationships to effectively influence and achieve results when addressing and implementing OT security initiatives and solutions. Design, implement and support the compliance with Australian Energy Sector Cyber Security Framework (AESCSF) & Security of Critical Infrastructure Act (SOCI Act) requirements for security of the OT systems, and other related security technologies within OT environment. Support the uplift of Cyber awareness for the site operational teams by engaging with multitude of stakeholders. Keeping abreast with the latest OT/ICS threat landscape and situational awareness from energy industry forums, vendors, the government and threat intelligence practitioners Support the development of OT security documentation that includes but is not limited to operating procedures, internal standards, and architectural review documents. Drive and implement intelligencedriven proactive defence and response initiatives leading the ideation, design, and execution of regular cyber security exercises in the OT environment Recommend and implement remediations for the prevention of future threats. Provide specialized thirdlevel support and technical assistance on any major issues and incidents to ensure these are resolved in a timely manner. Provide periodic updates of dashboards, metrics and reporting to relevant stakeholders. Nurture and develop team members.

About you:


Contribute to the OT cyber security strategy, to facilitate business outcomes in a secure manner and partner with key stakeholders to uplift security practices.

Assist in leading our OT/ICS Incident Response efforts as well as to develop and maintain IR playbooks.

What you'll bring to the role:
  • Practical knowledge in Incident Response (end to end process) in an OT/ICS environment.
  • The implementation and management of security operational capabilities including technical and procedural. This includes the ongoing compliance checking, reporting on agreed KPI's and contract obligations of third parties.
Development of design documentation, specifications, and standards. Onboarding capability onto the security platforms resulting from business change activities. Accountable and Responsible for ongoing development of automation into the security practices of AGL. Stakeholder focused with strong communication skills. Multivendor firewall & network security monitoring experience. Experience with onprem virtualization technologies. Experience with the design and implementation of ICS OT monitoring and alerting solutions. Disseminating vulnerability and intelligence advisories to mobilise to changes in the OT and Energy Industry threat landscape
