Funding & Administration Officer

Spinal Life Australia is a non-profit organisation that provides expert knowledge, specialist therapies and support tailored for people with spinal cord injuries and other physical disabilities. We are the largest provider of support services to people living with spinal cord injuries in Australia.

We are currently seeking a Funding & Administration Officer to join our Head Office Team based at Woolloongabba.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced customer service-oriented professional with a background in administration to join the team and help us deliver positive outcomes for our clients.

What you will be doing?
In this busy role, you will be providing a high level of administrative and office support activities for the staff of Commercial Services South Queensland.

We are looking for someone to:

  • General administrative duties including filing, e- filing and collation of service documents.
  • Prepare agreements for relevant service programs
  • Carry out functions within and maintain good working knowledge of all funder Provider Portals
  • Distribution of financial statements and client communications, both electronic and hard copy
  • Maintain a good working knowledge of database management that ensures the accurate entering of funding arrangements into Carelink.

What is needed to be successful?

  • Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to work with speed and accuracy
  • Ability to be adaptable and flexible, and respond quickly to changing priorities and has the ability to work independently
  • Be a skilled relationship-builder with high-level interpersonal and communication skills
  • Sound knowledge of business correspondence and report generation
  • Experience with NDIS funding
  • Experience with databases systems and Windows Office applications (intermediate level)
  • A customer service professional who is experienced at exceeding customer expectations
