Senior JavaScript Engineer

Design Company

  • $150k + super + equity

Company

You'll be joining a Sydney based, global design company. They're giving small businesses the chance to build a brand instantly.

Having built a loyal customer base both here in Australia and also in the States, they're now ramping up to make the platform the best in the world.

The team you'll be joining were set up last year to provide a brand new feature to customers and the feedback has been great.

Looking forward, the business has just been through a rebrand of their own small-business branding application which will mean more traffic to the platform. They are already using AI but the new year will herald a dedicated AI team aimed at building image based generative artificial intelligence to stay ahead of the competition.

Role

You'll be a Senior JavaScript Engineer. You'll be joining a cross functional team of four other developers, a tester, a UX designer and a Product Manager - there will be a close working relationship with the Head of Engineering and CTO too.

You'll be working on the product which helps build brands from scratch.

Here's What You'll Be Building In

Frontend - Vue + VueX/Pinia + , React + Redux +

Backend -

Infrastructure - AWS, CI/CD

It's a senior role but there are some amazing people to learn from and the team is growing. If you'd like this to be a stepping stone into a Lead role then the opportunity is here.

To be considered for this role, you will need either:
  • Bachelor degree and at least 2 years of full-time experience; or
  • 5 years of full-time experience in lieu of qualifications

The office hub is based in Surry Hills but they know that flexibility is key. They have monthly team events so as long as you're around for them, that works. If you want to go into the office, there is a core of people who go in regularly too so it's whatever works for you - there is a coffee tab next door if the office is what you decide
