About this opportunity


You will complete a Certificate III Business or Certificate IV Business over 12-24 months through a combination of formal training with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and practical on-the-job experience with Host Employer, Peter Evans & Associates Solicitors.

Throughout your formal training and practical experience in the workplace, you will have the opportunity to:

  • General office purchasing such as stationery, kitchen supplies, printer cartridges, and envelopes.
  • Greeting and welcoming customers into the office
  • Booking customer appointments, inclusive of preparing information and documentation.
  • Entering documents into safe custody, including opening, and archiving files
  • Work on computers to use various software tools to assist with the business operations
  • Carry out other duties that are within the limits of trainee skills, competence and ability as required

What you'll bring to the table
To make the most of this opportunity you will:

  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Commitment to both on and off the job training
  • A cando attitude, willingness to learn and a strong eye for detail
  • Have strong time management skills
  • Experience using technology (computers/telephones/software packages)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office based products i.e. Excel and Word
  • Hold a current driver's licence (or be close to obtaining)
