About the role

The Learning Improvement Division in Educational Standards Directorate plays a vital role in providing services that add value to teaching and learning across more than 2200 public schools in NSW.


As an Administrative Support Officer, you will contribute to effective and efficient business operations by providing quality administration and support services.


About you

  • Proven administration experience within a large complex organisation.
  • Strong time management skills to manage competing priorities and meet critical deadlines.
  • A customer service mindset and ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.

Essential requirements of the role

  • Hold a current and valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) for paid employment.
  • Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.

Key knowledge and experience

  • Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
