Location:

Brisbane CBD, QLD The role of the SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) is to provide expert advice and content knowledge of the solution to ensure design and configuration activities are completed to meet service delivery objectives.


The Key Responsibilities:
Design, configure and test SAP S/4 HANA EWM in accordance with strict information system standards and documentation requirements.
Transfer knowledge to support staff of SAP S/4 HANA EWM in accordance with the adopted functionality and operating procedures.

Document system configuration, technical specifications and procedures ensuring that they are maintained, reflect best practice for user requirements and appropriately comply with recognised Departmental and Government accounting policies.

Effectively engages with internal staff and external partners to implement industry standard solutions.

Uses extensive SAP S/4 HANA EWM knowledge to drive adoption of technology and process improvements that create superior solutions for the company, customers and vendors.

Provide expert advice and support in the completion of quality reviews of deliverables and ensure that all appropriate controls are in place and functioning in S/4 HANA.

Recommend and implement improvements to the processes involved in the deployment of application and infrastructure releases within Corporate Technology Services.

This person will also be recognised as a subject matter expert in EWM and be influential in setting direction and process.

Provide expert advice on changes to the solution design to ensure the system design remains robust, fit for purpose and meets requirements.

Work collaboratively with other management team members of the support team to ensure that each EWM system change has been fully considered for both application and infrastructure implications and the resources are available to implement changes.


An 'ideal candidate' would have:
Proven experience in the support and configuration of large-scale SAP Solutions preferably S/4 HANA.

Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills in SAP S/4 HANA in the following areas: Uses extensive SAP S/4 HANA EWM knowledge to drive the adoption of technology and process improvements that create superior solutions for the organisation, customers and vendors.

Demonstrated high level analytical and problem-solving skills in the SAP S/4 HANA functional areas - EWM.

Demonstrates broad technical leadership, exerts influence outside of immediate team, provides mentoring and guidance to other team members and drives positive change.

Act as an expert advisor, staying abreast of developments in SAP and continually upgrading functional knowledge and applying/sharing that knowledge across the organisation.

Develops EWM competency throughout the business by leading the training, system setup, testing, documentation and maintenance support activities.
Ensure that all appropriate controls are in place and functioning in S/4 HANA.

These skills should include experience in formulation, documenting and implementing functional and technical specifications, including: Effectively engages with internal staff and external stakeholders.

Good knowledge of current technical trends, including systems integration, and service-oriented architecture.

Skills in the following areas would also be highly regarded: The candidate will ideally have forged their skill set through working in and leading complex, large enhancements and business-as-usual support―as a broad indication, it is anticipated that candidates would have a minimum of 5 to 7 years' experience in such roles with extensive experience in EWM.


Evaluation Criteria:

Demonstrated ability to effectively perform the requirements of the role within a large complex and geographically dispersed ICT environment.

Demonstrated ability to participate effectively in a working environment supporting quality human resource management practices including employment equity, anti-discrimination, ethical behaviour and occupational health and safety.

Demonstrated well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills in SAP S/4 HANA particularly: SAP EWMExperience in working in both SAP end-to-end projects and BAU activities.

Demonstrated high level experience in formulation, documenting and implementing functional and technical specifications, including: Strong verbal and written communication skills; demonstrated influencing skills, high level of technical and team leadership skills.

Good knowledge of current technical trends, including systems integration, and service-oriented architecture.
Demonstrated analytical, conceptual and innovative problem-solving skills including the ability to independently research, analyse, develop and recommend options.
