Minutes to Seconds is currently in search of a Performance Tester for a Contract role based in Melbourne.


Requirements

Position Overview:

Minutes to Seconds is looking for a skilled Performance Tester to support a client in the Telecom Sector. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and reliability of software systems. Your role will involve close collaboration with diverse teams to pinpoint performance bottlenecks, conduct thorough testing, and implement effective solutions for system optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing performance tests to evaluate system behavior under various circumstances.
  • Analyzing performance metrics and pinpointing areas for enhancement.
  • Collaborating with development teams to integrate performance improvements.
  • Monitoring system performance in live environments and proactively resolving issues.
  • Conducting capacity planning to ensure systems can accommodate anticipated loads and expansion.
  • Investigating and resolving incidents and outages related to performance.
  • Keeping abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies in performance engineering.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated expertise in performance engineering and testing.
  • Proficiency in performance testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or equivalent software.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as New Relic, AppDynamics, or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of software architecture and distributed systems.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration capabilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.


Requirements
Experience in implementing secure web-based business solutions is essential, particularly in:
  • Developing web APIs with Azure API Manager and crafting customer-facing web portals using .NET Framework (including .NET Core) and ASP.NET.
  • Creating single-page web applications using Angular 7+ or React.
Demonstrated proficiency in Azure-based solution deployment, including:
  • Working with Azure technologies like Logic Apps, Azure SQL, Azure Service Bus, and Azure API Manager.
  • Utilizing Azure DevOps and Visual Studio for code development, repository management, and deployments (CI/CD).
  • Integrating custom-built applications with third-party systems, such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM.
