We are seeking a skilled and motivated Powder Coater and Prep Worker to join our workshop in Bunbury.

As a vital member of our team, you will play a key role in preparing surfaces for painting and powder coating, ensuring the highest quality finishes for our clients.

About the role

  • Prepares surfaces for painting and powder coating by sanding, cleaning, masking, and applying primers as needed.
  • Assist in mixing and application of paints and powder coats, ensuring colour accuracy and consistency.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and exceed client expectations.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a workshop environment.
  • Proficiency in surface preparation techniques, including sanding, cleaning, and masking.
  • Experience and qualifications in forklift truck operations.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and techniques in the field.
About you

  • Forklift certificate and proficiency in forklift operation.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to maintain detailed records and documentation.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Current WA drivers licence.
