Job Opportunity: Site Supervisor (Hybrid - Perth and Site)

Role Overview:

We're looking for a technically savvy Site Supervisor in Perth to lead shutdown maintenance and after-sales support for a Tier 1 mining client. This role is a mix of local and site-based tasks, with a scheduled shut roster. Your main focus will involve overseeing service teams, coordinating maintenance activities, and ensuring equipment performs optimally while prioritizing safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Instill a safety-focused culture across all operations.
  • Manage complex maintenance and service procedures.
  • Serve as a bridge between stakeholders and clients, guaranteeing clear communication and managing all aspects of after-sales service.
  • Support the professional development of team members through mentorship.
  • Execute precise equipment commissioning and troubleshooting.
  • Provide regular progress reports and address any personnel issues.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with clients by addressing concerns, proposing solutions, and suggesting improvements.
  • Maintain detailed shift logs and provide comprehensive handovers for client and incoming shift supervisors.
  • Coach and guide crew members to aid in their career growth.
  • Ensure the organization of site tool containers.
  • Assist with workshop maintenance when not engaged in site duties.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years' supervision experience in a challenging technical setting.
  • Hold a Mechanical Trade Qualification, supported by hands-on practice.
  • Prior involvement in the mining sector, particularly in crushing/sizing/screening.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, with strong analytical and problemsolving skills.

Schedule:

Site-based: Embrace the 12-hour day challenge with overtime benefits and a structured shut schedule for effective planning.

Workshop: Standard 7.6-hour days, Monday to Friday, for thorough equipment inspections.

Remuneration:

  • Base Salary: Competitive, starting at $115,000 + Super.
  • Potential to reach $150k - $180k with involvement in shutdown projects.
  • Provided company phone, laptop, and credit card for shutdown-related expenses.
