Roles and Responsibilities

  • Examine the business requirements outlined in functional specification documents and other artifacts, identifying the most suitable solution for implementation.
  • Analyze the requirements to implement them using Guidewire, utilizing either out-of-the-box solutions within the Guidewire platform or offering custom solutions.
  • Evaluate the integration development effort and review integration estimates by team members.
  • Draft technical documentation for code and design alterations, finalizing Guidewire integration changes.
  • Construct and conduct unit testing for the integration adjustments.
  • Take part in and offer technical advice during defect triage meetings.
  • Coordinate and execute integration testing with QA and other related teams.
  • Compile high-level and detailed design documents.
  • Provide technical insights on dependencies with other integration workstreams.
  • Engage in Quality Audits and uphold Traceability Matrix, Defect Prevention log, and other artifacts.
Mandatory Skills:
  • 5-7 years of IT Guidewire experience
  • Exposure to various Guidewire modules (e.g., CC, PC, and BC)
  • Proficient in Insurance P&C domain
  • Guidewire Certified
