Job Title:
Senior Electrical Designer
Location: Australia

Evaluation of 33KV line. All devices like pumping stations & dewatering must have power supplied. Low voltage focus (no high voltage reticulation).

Candidate Requirements:
- MicroStation essential.
- Minimum 8 years experience in Electrical (2D & 3D). Preferably background in non-process infrastructure of mining. Will consider experience in onshore oil and gas projects. Must be high energy and driven individuals. Ideally no significant annual leave plans for the next 6 months.

Project Insights:
It is a major sustaining project for an existing mine. Developing 2 additional ore bodies (initial team of up to 35 people). This will ensure the maintenance of current production targets in the future (maintain Saleable Ore Product - SOP). Client will utilize existing plant, stockyards, and TLO. For the design - new NPI infrastructure, including haul road networks (civil earthworks), gas pipeline crossing, Low Voltage (LV) access roads, surface water management (waterway crossing), connection/extension to existing raw water distribution, satellite NPI facilities, and communications infrastructure. New roads for heavy & light vehicles, some crossing gas pipelines, extending water pipelines, extension of existing water lines, extending power lines, new communications towers, hydrology/drainage/dewatering assessments, etc. Initial 6 months will focus on basic design, then transition to detailed design. Anticipate a minimum of 18 months of work ahead. Primary focus on bulk earthworks, water transport & management, Low Voltage power lines, and some communications.

Project visibility with milestones that cannot be missed – will impact production rates. Job duration of at least 18 months is expected. Continuation of work awarded by the client is a strong suit. Established knowledge base. Proficient in operations and client relations.
