About the role

Reporting to the Team Lead C130 Technical Support Services this role works closely with Commonwealth, Airbus Continuing Airworthiness Management Services Organisation (CAM-SO) and Military Design Organisation (MDO) personnel to provide guidance and ensure compliance with AAP procedures for the control of configuration items and associated data.

This would include:

• Maintenance of the Configuration Management Accounting Databases and associated data
• Control and management of software versions for Air and Ground systems
• Controlling, tracking and reporting the production and incorporation of Engineering Change Proposals
• Assisting the Team Lead in organising and conducting Configuration Control Boards
• Preparation and delivery of approved data packs to key external stakeholders
• Control of the Master Record Index for the aircraft and related support systems
• Develop configuration change tables to support continuous updates and changes

About you

To be successful in this role, it is a requirement to be able to work in a team environment, have well developed relationship skills as well as good verbal and written skills.

You will need to be someone who is able to work autonomously and to tight deadlines and work comfortably in a continuous improvement work environment.

The skills and experience best suited to this role include:

• Previous experience in Aircraft Configuration Management is desirable, however applicants with a background working within a quality based industry are encouraged to apply
• Experience using Enovia or other similar Product Lifecycle Management system
• Experience in Functional Configuration Audits (FCA) and Physical Configuration Audits (PCA)
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships internally and externally
• High levels of organisation with exceptional attention to detail
