The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve, but are not limited to:

  • Lead and mentor a team of technical support specialists, providing guidance on problem resolution and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex technical issues and ensure timely resolution.
  • Develop and maintain support documentation, knowledge base articles, and training materials for Workday users.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated technical issues, working closely with stakeholders and external vendors to resolve issues promptly.
  • Drive initiatives to streamline support processes, enhance system usability, and improve end-user experience.
  • Stay abreast of Workday updates, new features, and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency gains.
  • Liaise with Workday support resources and external consultants to leverage expertise and ensure effective collaboration in resolving technical challenges.

About You

As a proponent of The Ramsay Way - 'People Caring for People', you excel at fostering positive working relations with key stakeholders, developing people, building high-performance teams, and successfully leading them through organizational change. Additionally, you will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in Workday technical support, administration, or implementation, with at least 3 years as a Workday Technical Lead.
  • Hands-on experience in Workday configuration, troubleshooting, and customization.
  • Strong understanding of HR business processes and their integration with Workday.
  • Workday expertise with certifications in relevant areas, like Workday Integrations or Workday HCM.
  • Thorough understanding of security configurations and access controls within the Workday system.
  • Strong organizational skills to effectively manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Proven track record of successful system implementations and upgrades.
  • Experience conducting data audits to ensure system accuracy.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.

Desirable

  • Workday Certification is advantageous.
  • Experience in an IT support lead role or with other HR systems and tools is desirable.
  • Knowledge of data privacy and security principles is preferred.
  • Additional certifications in IT support or related fields are beneficial.
  • Familiarity with emerging HR technologies and their potential integration with Workday is valued.
  • Understanding of workforce planning and analytics tools is beneficial.
