About us:

We are a Steel frame housing business rapidly growing. We are expanding production and require additional staff. We fabricate and assemble steel house framing and roof trusses for delivery to sites.

About the Job:


This job is working in a team environment screwing together roll-formed steel parts based on fabrication drawings or producing the material reading for production from the roll forming machine.

Prior experience within steel fabrication, manufacturing or other factory-based work would be good but isn't essential. All training and tools needed will be provided.

Hours:

Full-time position 6:00-14:30 Mon-Fri. Paid overtime available during busy periods and weekends.

No experience required, Full onsite training provided

The key responsibilities of this role are:

  • Assemble steel frames
  • Perform quality checks
  • Achieve productivity targets
  • Daily housekeeping,
  • Cleaning the production area
  • Safe handling of materials and equipment
  • A dedication to a high standard of quality output and detail
  • Capable of working both in a team environment and autonomously
  • Good time management, effective communication skills
  • Ability to think outside the box, contribute to improvements in process

Immediate start or Start within a set agreed timeframe

Salary:
$ $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

  • Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Williamstown, VIC 3016: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

  • Australia (preferred)
