The Diocese of St Edmundsbury and Ipswich in partnership with EDF Energy seeks a Lead Chaplain to Sizewell C. You will offer spiritual and pastoral care
and articulate a contemporary vision for faith and spirituality within a rapidly growing community. We are seeking someone experienced in chaplaincy or church leadership with an understanding of the demands of a modern industrial environment who is:

  • A prayerful and reflective leader with management and leadership skills.
  • A good communicator with adaptability in the delivery of key messages.
  • A collaborative, strategic leader, used to leading teams, balancing priorities and growing projects.
  • Unconditionally welcoming of all
  • Confident in what they believe but highly empathetic to others and sensitive in how they communicate their faith.

Applications are open to lay or ordained candidates. A Genuine Occupational Requirement (GOR) exists that the postholder is a practising Christian in good
standing with a recognised denomination.
