About Us:

Overview of role:

Reporting to the Manager Corporate Finance, the Corporate Finance Analyst will support the Group's growth initiatives through M&A, corporate development and strategic projects.

The Corporate Finance Analyst will work closely with senior management, external advisors and key stakeholders to provide financial analysis and support on strategic corporate initiatives.


Duties will include:

  • Acquisitions: assist with financial modelling and valuation, bid formulation, transaction management, due diligence, sale contract negotiation and integration support.
  • Competitor and market analysis: analyse competitors and market trends to support the overall group strategy and assessment of acquisition targets
  • Corporate development: assist with the assessment of key strategic growth opportunities

Skills & Experience required:

  • Relevant degree qualifications (economics, finance or accounting)
  • Qualification such as Chartered Accountant, CFA or other relevant tertiary experience
years of experience within corporate finance or corporate advisory roles, ideally from an investment bank, Big 4 accounting firm or ASX listed corpate

  • Strong valuation and financial modelling skills
  • Experience in construction, property, construction materials industry desirable
  • Excellent numeric and analytical skills combined with an attention to detail
  • Strong research capabilities and knowledge of relevant market data sources.
  • Ability to synthesise various data sources into concise output.
  • Ability to prepare professional presentations both written and graphical / analytical
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and agility with various finance packages
