Reinsurance Claims Officer to join our client's team Our client is an Australian Government Organisation, which specialise in Cyclone and terrorism reinsurance, providing crucial cover to their growing client base.
We are looking for an engaging, driven, and motivated individual, who is keen to join a new team and work with an innovative business.

Duties and responsibilities include:
- Understand the reinsurance claims life cycle
- Provide of an efficient and effective claims service
- Ensure that all claim's related matters are dealt within SLA's
- Identify suspicious or potentially fraudulent claims and action accordingly
- Arrange investigations and liaise with legal counsel as required
- Ensure the claims system is kept up to date with all claims activity as required
- Reporting as required
- Assist in the understanding of claims process issues and risks, recommend, and implement changes as required
We are looking for someone with:
- Experience in reinsurance claims or a detailed understanding
- Ability to provide an outstanding and efficient service to all customers
- A selfstarter and the ability to work autonomously
- Excellent verbal and written skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong analytical, negotiation and rapport building skills
- Hold relevant Tertiary qualifications desirable
