SensesWA is a leading not for profit organisation, with over 126-years' history in providing disability services in Western Australia.

Our purpose is to build capacity by providing comprehensive disability services and specialising in sensory loss, positive behaviour support and children's therapies.

An opportunity exists for a highly organised and passionate Workforce Scheduler.

As a member of our Scheduling Team, you will be responsible for the timely and effective allocation of Support Workers to Client needs and schedules.

Using your exceptional people skills and passion for assisting our clients, you will assist in the scheduling of rosters and handle daily shift/ schedule changes as required.


Reporting directly to the Manager, Workforce Scheduling, you will be highly organised, ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, customer service centric, and have a positive approach to providing support to our clients and managers.


The position is a Casual part-time role assisting our "out of hours support" and you will need to be flexible to work between the hours of 17:00pm - 21:00pm Monday to Friday & 6:30am - 21:00pm on weekends & public holidays.

Snapshot of the Role:

The position is based at our Burswood head office and key responsibilities include the following:

  • Rostering and end to end coordination of all hours/schedules in scheduling system for a specific portfolio;
  • Maintaining data integrity in the scheduling system;
  • Compiling reports and manipulating data;
  • Fortnightly meetings with key stakeholders; and
  • Participating in meetings to improve processes and workflows.

What you will bring to the role:
To be successful in the role, you will possess the following:

  • Good understanding and exposure of workforce management systems, methodologies and principles;
  • Competent with Microsoft Office and CRM systems;
  • Skilled in data management, analysis and reporting;
  • Cando attitude and ability to work under pressure;
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;
  • High level of attention to detail;
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills;
  • Ability to interpret and communicate relevant Agreements;
  • Availability to work weekends and public holidays;
  • Provide evidence of COVID19 Vaccination as required under the WA Government Public Health Order effective 1 December 2021 (Public Health Act 2016 (WA)).
  • Current motor vehicle driver's licence.
  • Hold or willing to obtain an NDIS Worker Clearance.

  • Previous experience in the disability sector.
