An exciting opportunity has become available for a highly motivated Associate Nurse Unit Manager to join the Palliative Care Unit at Western Health, Sunshine campus.


Our Palliative Care Unit is a 20 bed inpatient unit that provides complex symptom management and end of life care, predominantly for people who reside in the Western suburbs of Melbourne.


To be Successful in this Role you will have:

  • A Bachelor of Nursing qualification or equivalent
  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • Previous experience as ANUM or Nurse in Charge
  • Experience in Palliative Care
  • Leadership qualities and a positive approach
  • Excellent clinical and organisational skills
  • Experience working closely within a multidisciplinary team
  • Previous experience as a Clinical Nurse Specialist or Associate Nurse Unit Manager
  • Critical thinking abilities, prioritisation and communication skills
  • Excellent clinical and leadership capabilities
  • A commitment to high quality, safe and person centred patient care
