The Opportunity


We have this excellent opportunity to join our influenza vaccine manufacturing team as a full-time permanent Inoculation Operator at the Parkville site.

The position requires 73.5 hours per fortnight. Weekend work will be required, and flexibility for overtime and shift work also required. Shift start and finish times will fluctuate based on production flow.

The Role

Reporting to the team leader, your responsibilities will include:

  • Tasks associated with pharmaceutical production process such as Egg Inoculation, and formation of seed.
  • Completion of batch documentation
  • Perform and document inprocess quality checks and calculations according to SOP requirements
  • Routine cleaning of plant and production work areas
  • Perform work session and post clean environmental monitoring
  • Operation of laboratory equipment including autoclaves and simple equipment maintenance
  • Work to be completed in accordance with cGMP, Seqirus Quality Management System, and relevant regulatory requirements, as well as Seqirus Environmental Health and Safety requirements.
Skills and experience

  • Experience in a Pharmaceutical Manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of GMP and Quality Management Systems
  • Experience working to timelines and tight schedules
  • Competent level of numeracy and literacy with legible hand writing
  • Able to maintain good attention to detail with mínimal errors
  • Good communicator and proactive attitude
  • Helpful, collaborative team player
  • Be flexible and adaptable to change
