speediestaffsolutions are seeking Store worker Labourers in the Hemmant area for an IMMEDIATE START

The role:

  • Demonstrate a commitment to safety and quality
  • Demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team
  • Determine quality of hide from folders & Grader
  • Determine weight of hide from scale reader
  • Carry cattle hides to correct export pallet with work colleague in a safe manner (No person must carry a hide heavier than 20kg on their own)
  • Folding of cattle hides
  • Pull hides from pits and load onto chain
  • Trimming of hides on Flesher
  • Trimming of hides on chain
  • Hide Folding on Flesher
  • Restack pallets of hides that have fallen
  • Assist in Stock Take when required
  • Any other duties relating to brine, cure, grade and pack/fleshing of cattle hides, as may from time to time be required by the company
  • You will need reliable transport.
  • You must be reliable and committed and have the ability to work quickly and accurately. Due to the high physical demands of these positions, workers will need to be physically fit and selfmotivated. You may be on your feet for extended periods and required to perform repetitive manual tasks.
