About Us
Zinfra partners with companies across the utility and infrastructure sectors to deliver maintenance, operations, engineering, and construction services.

For our partners our work is crucial to maintaining the safety and reliability of their electricity and gas transmission and distribution assets.


About the role


We are currently seeking multiple Crew Members to support our field work crews for all planned construction and repair & maintenance works.

You will be responsible for supporting the construction and repair & maintenance activities on the gas network; through the delivery of services, materials & equipment as directed by the crew leader in support of fabrication, installation and repair of gas pipes.


Our position is a Permanent Full-Time Opportunity with an attractive salary of $87k including superannuation with the opportunity to work overtime.


Key Responsibilities include

  • Assist in the construction, repairs, testing and connection of gas mains and services
  • Safe and efficient operation of excavation equipment
  • Assist with inventory and equipment coordination for crews
  • Conduct excavations and civil construction activities within the utility industries
  • Assist with site set up and restorations
  • Ensure worksite safety and environmental controls are established and maintained
  • Ensure that all work is performed within Work Cover requirements.
  • Work with other Zinfra employees and third parties to repair gas mains and services under emergency situations in line with planned and incident management procedures.

About You

  • Have a strong attitude towards quality and safety
  • Hold a trade qualification or have relevant trade/labouring experience
  • Construction Induction Card (White Card)
  • A valid driver's licence (Medium Rigid Truck Licence _(highly desirable)_
  • Hold an Excavator/Skid steer operations and VOC licence (_highly desirable_)
  • Willingness to work in a fantastic team environment
