A Day in the Life:

As a grade 3 Dietitian with Monash Children's Allied Health you will:

  • Provide clinical dietetic management and leadership to Monash Newborn across MCH, Casey & Sandringham and clinical management of the paediatric gastroenterology patients.
  • Provide leadership to the Dietetics team including taking on higher duties as Acting Profession Lead Nutrition & Dietetics, MCH.
  • Coordinate and manage the daily workload for the team at MCH
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues across the service to foster clinical excellence and consistency of practice.
This leadership role is within a large, dynamic, team with supervision by the Profession Lead, Nutrition & Dietetics MCH.

The position offers training, professional development, the opportunity to cover a range of clinical areas and undertake quality activities and projects.


What you Need:

  • A relevant Dietetics qualification eligible for membership of the Dietitians Association of Australia and APD program.
  • Preferred at least 7 years' experience as a Dietitian
  • Wellconsolidated experience in paediatrics including NICU / Special Care Nursery & gastroenterology
  • Demonstrated leadership & people management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, a strong team focus and an innovative approach
