Nestlé Campbellfield, the home of KitKat, Smarties, Aero, Milky Bar, Therapeutic Lozenges and more, has an exciting opportunity for Industrial Tradesperson's to join our Maintenance team on Day Shift.

Your role will primarily focus on maintaining confectionery manufacturing assets in a manner that enables manufacturing excellence.

A day in the life
You will be responsible for, and have the ability to deliver in the following areas:

• Managing the repairs, servicing and maintenance of site industrial services equipment. This consists of water reticulation systems, steam systems, refrigeration systems and thermal processes for chocolate manufacturing
• Coordination and management of 3rd party contractor services for effective and safe outcomes
• Responsible for selfmanaging work orders in a timely manner that is accurate and cost effective.
• Supporting improvement projects that aim to reduce unplanned stoppages
• Coaching operators to improve their process knowledge and skills
• Reviewing, creating and modifying preventative maintenance plans for optimum reliability
• Maintaining and improving OH&S and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards in the workplace

What will make you successful:

• Trade qualification. Preferably a Licensed Plumber or Refrigeration Mechanic
• Minimum 5 years experience maintaining a large scale manufacturing facility's industrial services infrastructure. This would include water reticulation systems, steam systems, refrigeration systems and thermal processes
• Proven track record demonstrating maintenance skills with preventative & breakdown experience
• Able to read and interpret schematic drawings
• Computer literacy and proficiency with SAP or a similar maintenance management program
• Good time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proactive cooperation and a demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment
• A willingness and ability to learn new processes
• The initiative and courage to speak out when correction is required
