St Benedict's College is a developing co-educational secondary college which opened in January 2013. In 2023 we will commence the year with in excess of 1000 students.

The College provides a connection to secondary education for the students of co-located St Benedict's Catholic Primary School, other local Catholic feeder schools, as well as students from a variety of other schools in the North Lakes-Mango Hill area and wider region.

We are master planned as a six stream Year 7 to Year 12 College.

We are seeking a

Grounds and Maintenance Officer with a passion for maintaining our beautiful, expansive grounds and buildings and who is keen to be part of our very hardworking team.

The applicant we are seeking should be enthusiastic, energetic and really enjoy working in the great outdoors, have proven organisation abilities, a genuine interest in tending and caring for our gardens, sporting fields, grounds and maintaining our buildings and facilities.

Taking on a Grounds and Maintenance Officer position at St Benedict's College would afford you all the necessary PPE equipment, machinery and tools required for the job.

This is an opportunity to bring your maintenance and 'green thumb gardening' skills to life.

In this work environment you will experience working with our Grounds Team and be supported by caring staff within a welcoming community.

To be eligible to be considered for this role you will:

  • hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement;
- be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment; and
- have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education.

Up to 52 weeks per year including school holidays
