Primary Responsibilities

  • 4+ years in Technology and experience in an IT operational capacity managing complex enterprise environments.
  • 2+ years' experience with cloud hosted solutions and best practice, with secure knowledge of infrastructure in one or more areas such as networking, database, virtualization, storage or platform services.
  • API Development(3+years): Strong understanding of API development and integration patterns.
  • Must have worked on Ecommerce tools and platforms (e.g.
Shopify)

  • Strong working knowledge with APIs – RESTful
  • Sound knowledge of Data Structure – JSON, any RDBMS
  • Strong Knowledge of SOAP/XML/REST/GRAPHQL is desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience in scripting and programming languages such as Python, SQL, Go, XML, Clojure, Java and C/C++
  • A high level of proficiency in at least one of TIBCO, Dell Boomi, Mule Soft
  • Workato knowledge is good to have and will be preferred
  • Knowledge of Implementing Integration projects is a must.
  • Experience with configuration management and tools such as Cloud Formation, Terraform, Chef, Puppet or Ansible.
  • Demonstrated experience with Dev Ops practices and agile ways of working.
  • Demonstrated capability managing and operating AWS deployments.
  • Experience with IT infrastructure lifecycle planning and management across various technologies.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Azure/ AWS environment and private/public cloud adoption.
  • Experience in delivery of remediation across infrastructure services.
  • Collaborating with Solution and Enterprise Architects to aggregate input into future state roadmaps/operational plans.
  • Astute at developing business aligned IT strategies, frameworks, and roadmaps (and communicating these).
  • Other tasks/responsibilities as directed.

Education/Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate qualifications in a relevant discipline or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training in Testing.
  • Qualifications in IT, Business or other relevant discipline and/or equivalent mix of education.

Knowledge and skills:

  • Ability to work in high-pressure work environment with multiple competing priorities
  • Demonstrate extensive experience in API development and testing across multiple formats including REST, JSON and XML and associated tools such as Postman or Soap UI.
  • Extensive experience in test configuration and test data management.
  • Demonstrate experience working with complex schemas and their associated data mappings, databases and their varying relationships between individual applications as well as the whole ecosystem.
  • Extensive experience in identifying application issues both functionally and technically and knowledge in creation of complex SQL queries to support the analysis of application issues.
  • Establish strong verbal and communication skills; with proven ability to adapt to multiple stakeholders from varying contexts
  • Evidence of self-driven, open, and learning mindset with strong facilitation skills
  • Demonstrate ability to work independently with excellent time management skills and a history of working effectively under time pressure with a willingness to see tasks through to a successful conclusion.
