Stable job offering, working with a well-known mining contractor. Tasks involve bucket realigning, fabrication, refurbishment projects, and mobile plant body repairs. Opt for either a 5-day on, 2-day off or 4-day on, 3-day off rotation, all daytime shifts.

The workshop

Work in a spacious and well-equipped facility with onsite support. Workshop amenities include:

The role

As part of a team of skilled boilermakers, you will focus on realigning client machinery buckets, performing maintenance, refurbishments, and repairs on company machinery. Responsibilities include:

  • Execution of diverse bucket repair projects
  • Maintenance, repair, and upgrades of bodywork, handrails, teeth, trays
  • Project-based assignments
  • Participation in shutdowns at Cadia Mine every 6-8 weeks for 2-3 days

Your skills & experience

  • Certified Boilermaker
  • Strong background in heavy fabrication and blueprint interpretation
  • Experience in mining or civil earthmoving is advantageous
  • High-quality workmanship and a genuine interest in the field
  • Positive work ethic and safety-oriented mindset
